Most of the groups that visit our facilities have a wide array of skill levels from the “rank beginner” to the “experienced” sailor. They have included Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Church Groups, School Groups, and even Birthday Parties. The program that best meets these types of groups is our GROUP BOATING ADVENTURE that can be customized to meet the groups goals.
For those groups that are more advanced and specifically interested in sailing we have offered a WINTER WEEKEND TRAINING for High School and College sailing teams, SPRING BREAK TRAINING during the months of March and April for College and High School Teams, and a year-round TRAINING CENTER where sailing teams and groups who want to focus on sailing and skill development can take advantage of great sailing waters using our fleets of boats.
We have also had groups looking for TEAM BUILDING AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT programs. Sailing is a great activity to build communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Bow to Stern will customize a program at the Boating Center designed to meet the needs of your group. We can teach any or all of the requirements for a sailing merit badge, fundamentals of small, medium and/or large boat sailing, introduce racing rules and tactics, and/or provide group team building on kayaks, powerboats and many types of sailboats. The programs are tailored to meet your group’s goals and can be a day, week or weekend in length.
While you are with us, you can camp on site or at local camp grounds on the shores of the Neuse river, all while enjoying fishing and other activites after a day of boating. We can plan for you to stay on one of the boats in our fleet at the dock, or you may choose a program on large boats where you spend the night on the boat in a secure, secluded anchorage. If none of those are your style, we can help arrange comfortable land based housing near our facilities.
Please CONTACT US so that we may set up a program for your group.
